Lifting Equipment and Load Handling Devices
Lifting equipment for running electric hoists and cranes in workshops and warehouses. Spare parts for Bulgarian hoists from 0.5 to 10 t: KG hoisting motors, rotors, fans, brake linings, couplings, rope guides and gearbox shafts. ZEUS crane scales from 150 kg to 50 t for weighing on the hook, and PML magnetic lifters from 100 to 2000 kg for steel plate.

How to Choose Lifting Equipment
Start with Load Capacity
Everything in this section depends on the capacity of the crane or hoist. Hoist parts are selected for its rating: 0.5, 1, 2, 3.2, 5, 8 or 10 t. Crane scales and magnetic lifters hang on the hook, so their own weight plus the load must not exceed the hoist rating. These figures are on the hoist nameplate and in the crane manual.
Hoist Spare Parts
Parts for Bulgarian electric hoists differ by load capacity, and gearbox shafts also by lifting height (6, 8, 12, 18 or 24 m). KG series hoisting motors are selected by the marking on the housing, for example KG2008 for a 2 t hoist. The parts replaced most often are brake linings, coupling elastic elements and rope guides, as they wear in normal use.
Weighing on the Hook
A crane scale goes between the hook and the load so the load can be weighed while it is moved, without a separate platform. Choose capacity with a 20-30% margin over the heaviest load, but not much more, or the reading step will be coarse. The scale adds height, reducing the lifting height by its length; models with a duplicate display suit high-bay shops.
Lifting Steel Plate
A permanent magnetic lifter replaces slinging when handling plate, slabs and flat blanks: place it on the metal, turn the lever and lift. The PML rating applies to a thick flat workpiece, so thin plate, a rusty surface or a round load need a margin. Austenitic stainless steel and non-ferrous metals cannot be lifted with a magnet.
