Crane scale VK ZEUS III-5000

Crane scales (hanging scales) are designed for weighing loads during loading or unloading by crane. Hanging scales significantly speed up the receipt and dispatch of raw materials and finished products.

VK ZEUS III scales are designed for operation in adverse conditions. The housing of this model is made of high-strength aluminum alloy and reliably protects the electronics from mechanical damage. The scales are fitted with a strain gauge load cell with a safety margin 1.5 times the rated weighing capacity. IP65 dust and moisture protection and guaranteed accuracy over the operating range from -20°C to +40°C allow the scales to be used on open sites in various weather conditions. For convenience, the 3 and 5 tonne models have a swivel hook that allows the load to be turned 360 degrees, and an automatic latch on the hook prevents the sling from slipping off.

At industrial enterprises such scales are used not only as process equipment but also for commercial purposes.

The scales are intuitive to operate and require no special skills. The scales provide the following functions:

• weight averaging (HOLD function);

• selectable Gross/Net display;

• weight accumulation (summing the results of several weighings);

• tare;

• hold of the reading after the load is removed;

• peak load memory.

For long battery operation the scales have energy-saving functions.
