Crane scale VMIK ZEUS III-3000

Crane scales (hanging scales) are designed for weighing loads during crane loading or unloading. Hanging scales significantly speed up the receipt and dispatch of raw materials and finished products. 

VK ZEUS III scales are built to operate in harsh conditions. The housing of this model is made of high-strength aluminum alloy and reliably protects the electronics from mechanical damage. The scales are fitted with a strain gauge load cell with a safety margin 1.5 times the rated weighing limit. IP65 dust and moisture protection and guaranteed accuracy across an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C allow the scales to be used outdoors in various weather conditions. For convenience, the 3 and 5 ton models have a swivel hook that lets the load be turned 360 degrees, and an automatic safety latch on the hook prevents the sling from slipping off. 

At industrial enterprises such scales are used not only as process equipment but also for commercial purposes. 

The scales are intuitive to operate and require no special skills. The scales provide the following functions:

• weight averaging (HOLD function);

• selectable Gross/Net display;

• weight accumulation (totaling the results of several weighings);

• tare;

• holding the reading after the load is removed;

• peak load memory.

For long battery operation the scales have power-saving functions.
