VK ZEUS III RPU crane scales 

Crane scales (hanging scales) are designed for weighing loads during crane loading or unloading. Hanging scales significantly speed up the receipt and dispatch of raw materials and finished products.

VK ZEUS III RPU scales come with a radio remote control unit (RPU) and are designed for outdoor use and for situations where reading the scale display is impossible or difficult. The scales and the RPU communicate via wireless data transmission. The RPU is a mobile battery-powered terminal that controls the scales and shows the weighing results on a built-in multi-line color TFT display. If needed, the totalized weight can be saved to the built-in memory card (up to 20 million weighings). The RPU has a built-in USB 2.0 interface for transferring totalized data to a computer. The free «Summator» software supplied with the scales lets you keep records of the results and is a nice addition to the purchase.

At industrial enterprises such scales are used not only as process equipment but also for commercial purposes.

The metrological characteristics of VK ZEUS III RPU scales fully comply with EN DSTU 45501:2007.

The scales are intuitive to operate and require no special skills. The scales provide the following functions:

• weight averaging (HOLD function);

• selectable Gross/Net display;

• weight accumulation (totaling the results of several weighings);

• tare;

• holding the reading after the load is removed;

• peak load memory;

• saving totalized results to the built-in memory;

• real-time clock display.

For long battery operation the scales have power-saving functions. 

A distinctive feature of the RPU is the ability to control a group of VK ZEUS scales (up to 16 units) in one range.
