How to Choose Crane Scales
Maximum Capacity
Choose capacity with a 20-30% margin over the heaviest load: a sharp lift or swinging briefly raises the load on the scale. At the same time, a 50 t scale is a poor choice for loads of a few hundred kilograms, since the higher the capacity, the coarser the reading step. Remember that the scale's own weight adds to the load on the hook and must stay within the crane capacity.
Accuracy and Reading Step
The reading step (division) grows with capacity. 150-300 kg scales suit small parts and batching, 1-10 t models suit blanks, rolled metal and shipment checks, and 20-50 t scales suit heavy products and weighing in steel shops. The accuracy class and step for each model are given in its manual.
Display and Control
On compact models the display is built into the housing, and at a height of several metres the digits are hard to read. Large shops therefore choose scales with a duplicate display or screen at the operator's workplace, or with a remote. This makes it easy to tare, record results and weigh without approaching the load, which is safer.
Suspension and Conditions
Check how the scale connects to the crane: the top shackle or ring must fit the hook, the bottom hook must take the slings. The scale adds height, so the lifting height drops by its length. For hot shops and outdoor work, check the operating temperature range, and charge the battery on schedule so the scale does not shut down mid-shift.

How do you deliver and how much does delivery cost?
By Nova Poshta, Meest or a freight carrier, at the carrier's rates. Pick-up from our warehouse in Dnipro is free. Goods are shipped after the invoice is paid.
