Description
This is the rubber body of the flexible coupling that links the lifting motor shaft to the gearbox shaft in Bulgarian T series electric hoists. The rubber compensates shaft misalignment and absorbs start-up shocks. If it is damaged, it can be ordered on its own without the whole coupling.
The element is sized for a hoist rated 2 t. The steel pins of both coupling halves fit into matching sleeves in the rubber body. Hoists with a lift height over 18 m use two compensating couplings with an intermediate shaft. Suitable for repair services and workshops that maintain Bulgarian hoists themselves.
In T-series electric hoists made in Bulgaria, a flexible coupling assembly is used to transmit rotation from the hoisting motor shaft to the hoisting gearbox shaft. It also compensates for relative shaft misalignment and shocks when the equipment is switched on.
The coupling consists of two coupling halves (steel discs) and one rubber coupling element. Each coupling half has steel pins that fit into matching bushings on the coupling element, and in the center a special splined seat that receives the gearbox and rotor shafts. When the lifting height of the electric hoist exceeds 18 meters, two compensating couplings are used and an intermediate shaft is added. The second coupling differs from the main one only in the size of the seat diameters; they have the same values.
