Description
This flexible coupling assembly made by Elmot transmits rotation from the lifting motor shaft to the lifting gearbox shaft in Bulgarian T series electric hoists. It also compensates shaft misalignment and absorbs shocks at start-up. Replace it when the rubber plates show visible damage or tears.
The set is for a hoist rated 0.5 t, lift height 6-12 m. It consists of two steel half-couplings with pins and a rubber body, with a toothed seat in the centre for the gearbox and rotor shafts. Part number 17100. To order, give the catalogue number or the hoist capacity and lift height. Suitable for repair services and workshops running Bulgarian hoists.
In T-series electric hoists made in Bulgaria, a flexible coupling assembly is used to transmit rotation from the hoisting motor shaft to the hoisting gearbox shaft. It also compensates for relative shaft misalignment and shocks when the equipment is switched on.
The coupling consists of two coupling halves (steel discs) and one rubber coupling element. Each coupling half has steel pins that fit into matching bushings on the coupling element, and in the center a special splined seat that receives the gearbox and rotor shafts. When the lifting height of the electric hoist exceeds 18 meters, two compensating couplings are used and an intermediate shaft is added. The second coupling differs from the main one only in the size of the seat diameters; they have the same values.
Under normal operating conditions it is recommended to check the condition of the compensating coupling pack every two years, and when the hoisting mechanism works in heavy conditions, once a year. If it shows visible damage or tears in the rubber plates, it must be replaced.
