Description
The FDB Maschinen MB206F double-sided thickness planer machines the stock from the top and bottom in one pass, so boards and beams get two parallel faces and an exact thickness at once. It is a heavy 850 kg machine for sizing boards and beams. The table is raised and lowered by a motorised drive, which speeds up resetting for a new thickness.
Planing width is 600 mm, stock height 12 to 200 mm, minimum length 300 mm. Cut depth is up to 4 mm on the top head and up to 3 mm on the bottom head. The 105 mm cutterheads with four knives run at 6500 rpm, feed is 8 or 11 m/min, and the motors are 5.5 and 4 kW at 380 V. Built for furniture factories and large woodworking plants.
