Description
The FDB Maschinen MB104F thickness planer sizes boards and beams to a set thickness. After one face is jointed, the stock is fed through and the machine removes material in an even layer. With up to 200 mm of planing height it handles thick beams as well as boards.
Planing width is 500 mm, stock height 8 to 200 mm, minimum length 160 mm, and cut depth up to 3 mm per pass. The 76 mm cutterhead carries four knives and runs at 5000 rpm, with feed rates of 5.6 or 9.6 m/min. The motor is 3 kW at 380 V and the machine weighs 270 kg. Suited to furniture shops, joinery production and workshops that process wide and thick stock.
