Description
The FDB Maschinen MB104AT thickness planer sizes boards and beams to thickness. Its key feature is a conveyor belt that carries the stock across the table, so there is no friction against the table and no step (snipe) at the ends of the workpiece. That makes it a practical choice where a clean surface matters.
Planing width is 370 mm, or up to 400 mm without the limiters. Stock height is 10 to 140 mm, minimum length 200 mm, cut depth up to 4 mm. The four-knife cutterhead runs at 4600 rpm with a 12 m/min feed, powered by a 2.2 kW 380 V motor. The table rises on a worm drive along four columns. Weight is 155 kg. Suited to joinery and furniture workshops.
