Description
The FDB Maschinen MB106B thickness planer sizes wooden stock to an exact thickness. It is used after jointing: a board or beam flattened on one face is fed through the machine and comes out with the same thickness along its full length. The machine is intended for light-duty use and small-batch production.
Maximum planing width is 600 mm, stock height 8 to 150 mm, minimum length 200 mm. The three-knife cutterhead runs at 4000 rpm with a feed rate of 10.2 m/min, driven by a 3 kW 380 V motor. Four vertical columns keep the table stable when setting height. Weight is 230 kg. A fit for joinery shops and furniture workshops that handle wide boards.
The thickness planer FDB Maschinen MB 106B is designed for planing workpieces to an exact thickness.
Workpieces are thicknessed after initial surfacing on a jointer (planer).
The machine is intended for home use and small-batch production.
