Description
The FDB Maschinen MB104 thickness planer sizes boards and beams to thickness after jointing. It removes an even layer across the whole face, so blanks for furniture, joinery and building structures come out at the same thickness. The machine runs on a three-phase 380 V supply.
Maximum planing width is 400 mm, stock thickness 10 to 120 mm, cut depth up to 4 mm per pass. Feed rate is 8 or 12.5 m/min, the cutterhead runs at 4000 rpm, and the motor is 2.2 kW at 380 V. The table is raised by a worm drive on four columns, and it has a chain drive. Weight is 160 kg. Suited to joinery shops and small woodworking production.
