Description
The FDB Maschinen MB13 is a compact thickness planer for sizing stock from different wood species to thickness. It is designed for light-duty use: a home workshop, renovation jobs and small joinery tasks. It is not meant for long continuous runs, high volumes or planing wood-based panels.
Maximum planing width is 330 mm, stock thickness 6 to 152 mm, minimum length 200 mm. Cut depth is up to 2.8 mm on narrow stock and less on wide boards. The two-knife cutterhead runs at 8500 rpm with a 6 m/min feed. The 1.5 kW motor runs on 220 V, and the machine weighs 33 kg. A good fit where no three-phase supply is available.
The FDB Maschinen MB 13 thickness planer is designed for planing workpieces of various wood species to thickness for home use.
The machine is not intended for long continuous operation or for planing large volumes of workpieces to size within a short period.
