Description
The 05213 instrument measures the tensile strength of a moulding mixture in the moisture condensation zone. The method is based on the resistance of the mixture to rupture under one-sided heating, so it shows how the mixture behaves when heated.
Pressure range is 1-6 kPa, stress build-up rate in the sample up to 1.3 kPa/s and heating hold time 1-100 s. Maximum heater temperature is 320 °C, warm-up takes no more than 30 minutes, power is up to 400 VA. It weighs 16 kg and measures 425x255x290 mm. It suits plant and research foundry laboratories.
The 05213 tester measures the tensile strength of the working mixture.
PURPOSE
The 05213 tensile strength tester for mixtures measures strength in the zone where moisture condenses. The measurement method is based on determining the tensile resistance of the mixture when it is heated from one side.
APPEARANCE
The housing of the mixture strength tester is made of metal. At the bottom of the housing there are 4 feet for placing it on a work surface. On the front there is an instrument scale and buttons for setting up the operating cycle. On the right side there is an open section with the measuring area.
