Description
The FDB Maschinen SG200G metal band saw cuts round and profiled stock, pipe and solid workpieces in steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Smooth hydraulic frame feed and blade cooling give a straight cut without overheating, so this band saw machine is well suited to cutting batches of identical blanks to length.
At 90° it cuts 205 mm round or 205 x 215 mm rectangular stock, 135 mm at +45°. The 1100 W motor runs on 380 V with four speeds of 24/41/61/82 m/min, the blade is 2360 x 19 x 0.9 mm, the coolant tank holds 15 l and the machine weighs 190 kg. It is built for machine shops, stock-cutting areas and metal depots doing one-off and small-batch cutting.
The FDB Maschinen SG 200G band saw cuts workpieces with a band blade welded into a loop. Such machines are divided into cantilever and gantry types depending on the saw unit design.
