• The radial drill is fitted with a powerful industrial motor.
• The heavy cast design of the machine ensures high rigidity.
• The drill head is moved along the arm and locked in the required position.
• The radial drill has a convenient control panel.
• Open access to the workpiece from all sides.
• The cast arm is made of cast iron with stiffening ribs.
• The arm height on the OPTIdrill RD 4 radial drill is adjusted by a powerful electric motor and a worm gear.
• The arm raising and lowering sleeve runs in an oil bath.
• On the OPTIdrill RD 4 radial drill the arm guideways are properly hardened and precision ground.
• The mechanical gearbox is made of chrome-nickel steel, heat-treated and ground, for quiet and smooth operation.
• Separate clamping of the column and the drill unit on the arm.
• Forward and reverse spindle rotation.
• The coolant system is built into the base of the radial drill.
• The table has parallel T-slots.
• A machine lamp with a flexible swivel base is fitted.
• The radial drill has motor overload protection.
• The thick-walled steel column ensures smooth travel and stability.
