Description
The 04211 apparatus dries bulk materials under a lamp so their moisture content can be found from the mass loss after drying. It is used for sand, core and moulding mixtures in foundry laboratories. The unit works on its own, or it can be placed on VLKT-500gM scales to follow the sample mass during drying.
Sample mass is up to 50 g, one sample at a time. The cup bottom sits 65 mm from the lamp, supply is 220 V and power 250 VA. The apparatus weighs 3 kg and measures 285x195x358 mm. It fits express moisture checks in shop-floor and plant laboratories.
The 04211 series apparatus is used for drying bulk materials.
PURPOSE
The 04211 rapid moisture analyzer is used for drying sand, core and molding mixtures and determining their moisture percentage. It allows the mass loss after drying to be determined.
The moisture analyzer is a stand-alone device. It can be used together with VLKT-500gM scales. To do this, the apparatus must be placed on the scales, which makes it possible to measure the mass of the material being dried.
APPEARANCE
The lower part of the device is made of metal. On the front there is a button to start the operating cycle and the mains power cord. On the surface of the base there is a mounting for a rectangular metal lid that can partially swing open.
