Description
The Tekhmann construction TCTR-80/168L tamping rammer compacts soil so it does not settle after construction. It is used when building country houses, under paving slabs and cobblestones, in landscaping, in road and bridge construction, and to strengthen clay and loam soils. It is driven by a 4-stroke air-cooled petrol engine.
Engine power 4.1 kW, compaction depth 450 mm, impact force 10-13 kN, jump height 40-80 mm, shoe size 330×290 mm, travel speed 9-12 m/min. Tank 3.6 l, weight 82 kg. Suited to construction crews and municipal services.
A rammer is used when building a country house, laying tiles or paving stones, or landscaping, where one of the most important preparatory jobs is compacting the soil to prevent later settlement. A whole range of professional soil stabilisation work (clay, loam) is also done in sectors such as high-rise, bridge and road construction.
The rammer is built around a single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled petrol engine. The fuel level is checked through the filler neck. A mesh filter in the filler neck under the fuel cap must be cleaned of dirt before each refuelling.
Engine speed (compaction speed) is controlled with the throttle lever. The design provides remote engine speed control.
