Description
The FDB Maschinen MB S265A edge banding machine applies ABS, PVC and strip edging up to 3 mm thick to straight panel edges. The full cycle runs automatically: premilling, glue and edge application, end trimming, rough and fine trimming, edge scraping and polishing with a cotton wheel. Control is by PLC with a Delta touch screen.
Edge width is 12-60 mm, edge thickness 0.4-3 mm, panel thickness 10-60 mm, feed 18-23 m/min, total power 13500 W, 380 V supply, air pressure 0.7 MPa and a 100 mm dust port. Dimensions are 4900 x 900 x 1500 mm and weight 1500 kg. It is built for high-volume furniture production.

1. The gluing unit has a special design for even glue application, which ensures stronger bonding.
2. The end trimming unit uses precise guide rail movement, automatic tracking and fast cutting by a high-frequency motor.
3. The rough / fine trimming unit, used to remove excess edging material, uses automatic tracking and fast cutting with a high-frequency motor to ensure smooth trimming of panels.
4. The scraping unit removes tool marks left by trimming and cutting to ensure smooth panel edges.
5. The buffing unit performs final polishing of the panel with a cotton buffing wheel to make the surface smoother.
