Description

MBS1 edge banding machine features:

• The MBS1 is designed for banding straight edges of panels with ABS and PVC edging and strip edge banding material up to 3 mm thick.
• The machine automatically applies glue and edge material, trims overhangs and cuts the ends.
• Gluing→End trimming→Fine trimming→Polishing
• One-piece welded frame for machine stability.
• A twin-rail end-trimming unit ensures fast operation.
• Quality pneumatic components are used in the end and corner rounding units to ensure performance.
• Delta PLC and touch screen from Taiwan.

Operations:

Gluing:

1. Glue tank 1.6 litres. Located below the gluing axis.

2. Precise glue quantity adjustment.

3. The Teflon-coated glue tank gives the best gluing quality, as glue does not stick to the tank walls.

4. Minimal heating time.

5. No need to adjust for material thickness.

6. A heated base strip in front of the applicator gives the best gluing result.

 End trimming:

1. Linear guide rail at 45 °.

2. The trimming unit has 2 motors:

Power: 0.55 kW;

Frequency: 50 Hz;

Speed: 12000 rpm.

3. Saws: 100 x 22 Z30; set at 5 °.

4. Automatic guide lubrication system with timer.

5. A Delta inverter ensures precise control.

6. Motor overload protection.

Fine trimming:

Two industrial motors (12000 rpm) 2 x 0.75 kW.

Fitted with trimming counters for different edge thicknesses.

The fine trimming unit removes excess edge material using automatic tracking and a high-frequency motor for fast cutting to give a smooth trim on the panels.

Polishing:

A polishing unit with a 2-layer cloth wheel polishes the edge, making the surface glossy and removing dirt.

Stable operation with a constant power supply. Fitted with 2 motors:

1. Power: 0.18 kW;

2. Frequency: 50 Hz;

3. Speed: 1400 rpm.

Control panel:

The display shows setup and operating parameters: glue temperature and status of the machine units.

If a fault occurs, the display shows a description of the fault with the unit and component
