Description
The FDB Maschinen MB 515S edge bander applies natural strip and synthetic roll edging to straight and curved edges of furniture panels made of chipboard, fibreboard and wood. The panel is fed by hand, and two glue rollers apply hot melt to both the edging and the panel edge. Textolite guides on the table protect the finished face from scratches.
Tape width is 10-50 mm, tape thickness 0.3-3 mm, panel thickness 10-48 mm, minimum radius 50 mm, feed 1-15 m/min, glue temperature 110-180 degrees, power 1230 W, 380 V supply, weight 150 kg. It has end cutting for roll material and an automatic glue thermostat. It suits small furniture shops.
Description
The MB 515S edge banding machine is designed for banding straight and curved edges of furniture panels and workpieces made of wood, fibreboard (hardboard) and particle board (chipboard) with natural strip and synthetic roll material. Gluing is done with manual workpiece feed.
Textolite guides on the work table fully prevent damage to the faced surface of workpieces when they are moved for edge application.
MB 515S edge banding machine features:
- The MB 515S with manual workpiece feed has two glue rollers: one applies hot-melt glue to the edge material, the other applies hot-melt glue to the workpiece edge.
- MB 515S machines are equipped with an end trimming mechanism for roll material and an automatic glue heating thermostat.
- Both roll and strip material can be used.
- The machine is designed for banding straight and curved edges of furniture panels.
