Description
The FDB Maschinen DB 1218 wood lathe turns wooden blanks and round parts. It is a light-duty machine for small woodworking shops, where it handles auxiliary jobs, and for training workshops. The design is easy to learn and maintain, and the rigid bed reduces vibration while turning.
Swing over bed is 305 mm, distance between centres 457 mm, 5 speeds from 500 to 3150 rpm changed by moving the belt, a 0.55 kW 220 V motor, MT2 taper and a weight of 33 kg. With the bed extension (item 826864) the turning length grows to 1000 mm. It suits a workshop that needs a larger swing than the MCF450 offers.
