Description
The Proma PPK-90U metal band saw cuts structural steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals: pipe, profiles, angle and bar. A small band saw machine like this suits jobs where metal has to be cut to length without heavy equipment - in a repair shop, a workshop or on a building site.
At 90° it cuts 90 mm round stock with a largest section of 85 x 85 mm, 40 mm at 45°, and the frame swivels from 0° to 45°. The 400 W motor runs on 230 V at 20-29-50 m/min, the blade is 1300 x 13 x 0.6 mm and the saw weighs 37 kg. It suits fitters' and repair workshops, small production sites and installation crews.
The band saw PPK-90U is designed for cutting small parts from materials of various density.

Machine description.
The design of the universal band saw PPK — 90 U includes a cast-iron base, frame, metal guards, covers and other assemblies. This combination of materials gives the machine a rigid design and reliable operation. The saw frame can be swiveled from 0° to 45°. The blade is driven by a single-phase motor through a worm gear and V-belts.
