Description
The OPTIsaw SP 13V is a metal band saw for cutting pipe, angle, profiles and solid bar in steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. This compact band saw machine fits a fitter's workshop, a stock-cutting area or an installation site, and it also makes angled cuts.
At 0° it cuts round stock up to 125 mm and 125 x 125 mm squares, 85 mm at 45°, and the cutting angle goes up to 60°. The 1 kW motor runs on 230 V with an electronic variator for 30-80 m/min, the blade is 1440 x 13 x 0.65 mm and the saw weighs 19.5 kg. It suits fitters' and repair workshops, small production sites and installation crews.
Technical description:
- The portable hand-held band saw OPTIsaw SP 13V has an electronic variable speed control for the blade, so the most suitable sawing mode can be selected.
- The band saw design allows angle cuts of the workpiece from 0° to +60°.
- A bimetal blade is supplied with the band saw.
- An adjustable stop allows workpieces to be cut to the same length, saving time on repeated measuring.
- Rubber feet on the base of the band saw keep the whole unit stable when sawing workpieces.
- OPTIsaw SP 13V has a quiet-running gearbox that runs in an oil bath.
- Vario drive motor provides smooth speed control over the entire speed range from 30 to 80 metres per minute.
