Description
The Proma PPK-115 is a metal band saw for cutting pipe, angle, profiles and solid bar in steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. This compact band saw machine fits a fitter's workshop, a stock-cutting area or an installation site, and it also makes angled cuts.
At 90° it cuts 110 mm round or 110 x 150 mm, 68 mm at 45°, and it can also cut vertically. The single-phase 370 W motor runs on 230 V at 20-29-50 m/min, the blade is 1640 x 13 x 0.6 mm and the machine weighs 65 kg. It suits fitters' and repair workshops, small production sites and installation crews.
The PPK-115 band saw is designed for cutting materials of various density: from aluminium, aluminium alloys and non-ferrous metals to high-strength steel. The saw is designed for cutting small parts; the maximum part size is 100 x 150 mm.
The universal PPK-115 band saw consists of cast iron parts with metal guards. This combination of materials provides sufficient machine rigidity at maximum cut. The saw can be set for cutting at 45° and 90°. The saw blade is driven by a single-phase motor. The cutting speed can be partly adjusted with the pressure spring. The size and weight of the saw make it portable.
This equipment is used both in small-batch production and at home thanks to its low power consumption and the ability to connect to a household power supply.

The idler wheel tilt adjustment bolt is used to centre the blade and prevent it from running off. At least two thirds of the blade width must be on the wheel. If it is less, tighten the bolt. If the blade sits near the rear of the wheel, loosen the bolt. Then tension the blade. Its deflection between the wheels should be 3-5 mm.
The machine is supplied assembled, with the stop removed and the stand disassembled.
