Description
The FDB Maschinen SG115 metal band saw cuts structural steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals: pipe, profiles, angle and bar. A small band saw machine like this suits jobs where metal has to be cut to length without heavy equipment - in a repair shop, a workshop or on a building site.
At 90° it cuts 110 mm round or 110 x 130 mm rectangular stock, 73 mm at 45°. The 370 W motor runs on 220 V with three speeds of 21/34/45 m/min, the blade is 1638 x 13 x 0.65 mm, table height is 610 mm and the machine weighs 60 kg. It suits fitters' and repair workshops, small production sites and installation crews.
The FDB Maschinen SG 115 band saw is designed for cutting a wide range of materials, from aluminium, non-ferrous metals and alloys to high-strength steels and nickel. The model features a rigid design and high productivity.
Angled cuts are made with the swivel vise or by swivelling the saw arm. A coolant system can be used. The small size of the machine makes it mobile and easy to transport.
