Description
The Proma PPK-175 is a metal band saw for one-off and small-batch cutting of round bar, pipe, profiles and solid workpieces in steel and non-ferrous metals. A hydraulic cylinder controls how the frame lowers and coolant is fed into the cut, so this band saw machine suits work in a stock-cutting area.
At 90° it cuts 180 mm round or 180 x 300 mm, 110 mm at 45°. The 750 W motor runs on 400 V at 34/41/59/98 m/min, the low speed suits stainless steel, the blade is 2360 x 20 x 0.9 mm and the 145 kg machine comes with a stand. It is built for machine shops, stock-cutting areas and metal depots doing one-off and small-batch cutting.
The PPK-175 band saw is designed for cutting materials of various density: from aluminum, aluminum alloys and non-ferrous metals to high-strength steel. The saw is designed for cutting parts with a maximum size of 180 x 300mm.
The PPK-175 consists of cast-iron parts with metal guards. This combination of materials ensures sufficient rigidity of the machine at the maximum cross-section. The saw can be set for cutting at 45°and 90°. The saw blade is driven by a three-phase motor. The lowering speed of the saw frame can be adjusted with a hydraulic damper cylinder. The model has a coolant system.
This equipment is used in small-batch and batch production. For example, in a blank-cutting shop the band saw will be an essential link in the production chain.
