The CORMAK BS128 HDRC is a metal band saw for one-off and small-batch cutting of round bar, pipe, profiles and solid workpieces in steel and non-ferrous metals. A hydraulic cylinder controls how the frame lowers and coolant is fed into the cut, so this band saw machine suits work in a stock-cutting area.

The cutting angle range is -45° to +60°, the 0.55 kW motor runs on 400 V with three speeds of 20/30/55 m/min and takes a 1640 x 13 x 0.65 mm blade. The saw blade is not included in the delivery. It is built for machine shops, stock-cutting areas and metal depots doing one-off and small-batch cutting.

Metal-cutting band saws are used for high-performance cutting of metals used in modern engineering: non-ferrous, nickel, titanium and other alloys, as well as high-alloy and structural steels. Band saws are used to cut pipes, sections and solid bar to length.

The CORMAK BS128HDRC metal-cutting band saw has an optimal cutting range, is intended for the professional user and is productive and easy to operate. Its frame swivels both ways, a big advantage when cutting at an angle. Despite its small size, its heavy weight (109 kg) makes the machine very stable and, unlike lighter machines, it does not vibrate when cutting large workpieces.

The base is enclosed and forms a rigid welded steel-plate housing. Inside is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump. The top of the base is shaped as a tray for coolant drainage and collecting chips produced during cutting. The cast-iron work table is mounted to the base together with the two-way swivel bracket and the control panel.
