Description
The FDB Maschinen SG 220 HD is a metal band saw for one-off and small-batch cutting of round bar, pipe, profiles and solid workpieces in steel and non-ferrous metals. A hydraulic cylinder controls how the frame lowers and coolant is fed into the cut, so this band saw machine suits work in a stock-cutting area.
At 90° it cuts 220 mm round or 260 x 210 mm rectangular stock, 150 mm at 45° and 90 mm at 60°. The 600/1100 W motor runs on 380 V at 36/72 m/min, the blade is 2460 x 27 x 0.9 mm, it has a swivel quick-clamp vise and weighs 260 kg. It is built for machine shops, stock-cutting areas and metal depots doing one-off and small-batch cutting.
