Description
The OPTIsaw SP 17V is a metal band saw for cutting pipe, angle, profiles and solid bar in steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. This compact band saw machine fits a fitter's workshop, a stock-cutting area or an installation site, and it also makes angled cuts.
At 0° it cuts 170 mm round and 140 mm square stock, 130 mm at 45° and 75 mm at 60°. The 1.65 kW Vario motor runs on 230 V at 30-80 m/min, the blade is 2030 x 20 x 0.9 mm and the saw weighs 36 kg. It suits fitters' and repair workshops, small production sites and installation crews.
Technical description:
- Metal band saw OPTIsaw SP 17V is supplied as standard with a high-quality bimetal blade.
- The adjustable material stop is intended for serial work.
- For convenience, next to the start button on the lever of the band saw there is a control for the blade speed variator.
- The base plate with non-slip feet holds the band saw securely on the surface.
- Low vibration and wear thanks to a special gear drive with two hardened steel gears.
- The OPTIsaw SP 17V metal band saw has a Vario drive motor with low rotational speed and carbon brushes for longer service life.
- The saw frame can be swiveled from 0° to +60°, which allows angled cuts.
