Description

The ShM-IIN magnetic stand holds dial indicators and other measuring heads next to the workpiece on a machine tool or surface plate. The arms are movably linked and an adjustable clamp lets you set the indicator height and reach. The base magnet can be switched on and off, so the stand holds on steel surfaces in almost any position.

Magnet holding force is 80 kg, the vertical column is 250 mm long and 16 mm in diameter, the tilting arm is 200 mm long and 12 mm in diameter, and the magnet block measures 50x58x56 mm. Supplied with a box and manual. Suits turning and milling work, inspection and repair shops.

Stands and holders are passive participants in the measuring process. Dial indicators or other primary measuring instruments are mounted on them. The holder arms, movably connected to each other, allow the instrument to be positioned where needed. The heavy base of the holder or stand provides stability, and the adjustable clamp allows the indicator height and reach to be changed. For convenient mounting, the base of the stand or holder is magnetic, allowing it to be fixed to ferromagnetic surfaces in almost any position, which makes the stand more versatile. The stand magnet can be switched on and off.
