Description
This rigid precision non-swivel machine vise with 160 mm jaws clamps parts for milling, drilling and grinding. A special element inside the movable jaw pulls the workpiece down against the body, so it is not pushed out and its surface keeps its shape.
Jaw plate width 160 mm, maximum opening 140 mm with the plates in the standard position. A needle bearing on the screw reduces handle effort, play of the movable jaw is set with an adjusting screw, and the jaw plates are removable. The base has mounting holes and slots that can take a swivel base, which is not included. Suited to machine shops and repair services.
Precision rigid-clamping non-swivel machine vise with 160 mm jaw plate width and a maximum opening of 140 mm (with plates in the standard position), used for precision work on grinding and other machines.
Structurally, the tool consists of a pair of parallel jaws, one of which is fixed while the other is pressed against the part by a trapezoidal screw.
A needle bearing ensures smooth screw travel. This allows maximum clamping force to be achieved without much effort on the handle. Play of the movable jaw is adjusted with an adjusting screw at the rear of its body.The plates on the jaws are removable, which reduces the overall maintenance cost of the product and improves working efficiency. The vise base has mounting holes and slots for secure and accurate fastening to the machine table. If needed, the holes can be used to fit a swivel base (not included).

- During operation, make sure the vise is not subjected to impacts, otherwise its accuracy may be impaired
- To ensure smooth and accurate operation of the vise, lubricate its moving parts regularly
Vise operating principle :
When horizontal working pressure (clamping) is applied to the vise, a special element inside the movable jaw increases the force pressing the workpiece down onto the body. This keeps the vise from lifting the part and preserves the shape of its surface.
