Description

The FDB Maschinen MX5617 is a heavy wood spindle moulder for joinery shops that need accurate profiling, edge work and tenon cutting. The solid frame carries the sliding table, and chips are removed from the cutting zone and from the bottom of the machine.

According to the product description: 4 kW motor on 380 V, spindle speeds of 6000, 8000 and 10000 rpm, 32 mm spindle and up to 120 mm milling height. The fixed table is 1150x450 mm, the sliding table 1150x310 mm with 800 mm travel, and the fence turns 0-45 degrees. Weight 465 kg.

The machine has a powerful, massive frame that also serves as the base of the sliding table. This ensures high milling accuracy.
The machine design provides chip extraction from the milling zone and from the lower part of the machine.
The sliding table has a swivel fence.
