Description
The FDB Maschinen MX5117 is a wood spindle moulder with a heavy frame that also carries the sliding table, which keeps milling accurate. It is built for profiling, edge work and tenons in joinery production, and chips are extracted both from the cutting zone and from the bottom of the machine.
The 4 kW motor runs on 380 V through a V-belt drive at 6000, 8000 and 10000 rpm. The 32 mm spindle has 120 mm travel and up to 120 mm milling height. The fixed table is 1150x450 mm, the sliding table 1150x310 mm with 800 mm travel and a workpiece clamp, and the fence turns 0-45 degrees. Weight 465 kg, for shops with steady workload.
