OPTIdrill D 23Pro (400 V) bench drill press for metal with V-belt drive

The success and popularity of the OPTIdrill B23Pro led the German engineers to offer an improved model, the OPTIdrill D 23Pro/400 industrial bench drill press with a V-belt drive and a drilling depth stop.

Technical description:

• The motor of the OPTIdrill D 23Pro bench drill press has a power of 750 W and a voltage of 380 V. The motor is highly reliable and can run continuously over several shifts.
• The spindle of the bench drill press rotates in both directions (reverse). This function is often decisive when choosing a drill press. The throat depth of this model is 180 mm, with twelve speeds in the range from 200 to 2 440 rpm. The spindle feed hub is cast from aluminum and has comfortable rubber-coated handles.
• As mentioned above, the bench drill press OPTIdrill D 23Pro has a V-belt drive using high-quality toothed belts from the German company GATES. The aluminum pulleys of the bench drill press, together with the toothed belts, completely eliminate belt slippage and transmit rotation from the motor to the spindle as fully as possible. The V-belt drive is enclosed by a guard with a built-in limit switch that prevents the motor from starting when the cover is open.
• The drilling head is firmly mounted on a round column, which in turn is fixed to the cast iron base of the drill press. The result is a rigid and stable design. The cast iron base has parallel slots for clamping fixtures and machining large workpieces.
• The drilling depth stop is a convenient and necessary function for many industrial enterprises. The electronic scales are zeroed at any point when the operator presses the "zero" button.
• The rigid, accurate work table installed on the OPTIdrill D 23Pro bench drill presshas a special coolant channel and diagonal slots for clamping machine vises. The work table is moved up and down the column by turning a crank. If necessary, the table can easily be swiveled around the column and tilted up to 45° in both directions.
• On the control panel of the bench drill press there are digital displays for spindle speed and drilling depth, an emergency stop button and a motor start button protected against moisture and dust (IP 54).
• The control circuit of the bench drill press operates at 24 V DC.
