Description
The FDB Maschinen SG 280 R is a semi-automatic band saw machine for cutting small and medium profiles, pipe and solid workpieces. The frame is lowered and raised hydraulically and coolant is supplied by a pump. It is a metal band saw for stock-cutting shops under constant load.
Maximum cut at 90° is 280 mm round or 200 x 400 mm rectangular, and the frame swivels to 45°. The 3 kW blade motor runs on 380 V with five speeds from 25 to 80 m/min, the blade is 3860 x 34 x 1.1 mm, an outfeed roller table is included and the machine weighs 1500 kg. The machine is intended for plant stock-cutting shops and metal depots that cut profiles and bar stock regularly.
This is a semi-automatic band saw used mainly for cutting small and medium-sized sections. The swivel angle is set manually. * The base of the mitre band saw is a steel plate structure with a pivot shaft mounted on it. When an angled cut is needed, the saw frame can rotate around the pivot shaft from 0 to 45º. The angle is set with a hand screw and the scale is aligned manually. * The saw frame is hinged and moves up and down around the pivot shaft, driven by a hydraulic cylinder; the lower end of the cylinder is also hinged to avoid over-constraint and not to affect the stability of raising and lowering the saw frame. * This cut-off band saw has a separate electrical control cabinet. All electrical components are installed in the cabinet. Interlocks between each action are provided for safety. In particular: if the vise is not clamped, the main drive cannot run; the vise cannot be released during sawing; all actions are controlled via relay circuits and buttons.
