Description
The front shield is the flange of the lifting motor that bolts the motor to the body of a Bulgarian electric hoist. It holds the seat for the bearing that centres the drum and the motor; the bearing is held by a retaining ring and fits into the drum during assembly. Hoists from 500 to 5000 kg use front shields with different catalogue numbers.
