Description
The fan cover is a cast-iron part of the lifting motor brake on Bulgarian T-series electric hoists. It sits on the rear motor shield over the fan with its brake pad and is fixed with four bolts; the fan grille that keeps foreign objects out of the motor is attached to it. The brake pad presses against this cover, so a cracked cover stops the motor from working.
