Description
The Proma SO-100 is a mechanical swivel machine vise for mounting on a drilling or milling machine. Its base turns through 360 degrees and has a scale for setting the angle, so several milling operations can be done in one set-up. When not needed, the swivel base can be removed and the vise used on its own.
Jaw width 100 mm, jaw height 40 mm, maximum opening 90 mm, weight 15 kg. Rectangular slots on both sides are used to fix the vise to the machine table. This vise from the Czech brand Proma suits work on drilling and small milling machines in a workshop.
Swivel mechanical vise SO-100 is designed for mounting on a drill press or milling machine.
A feature of this swivel vise model Proma SO-100is a 360° swivel mechanism. The swivel mechanism makes a number of milling operations more convenient and allows the workpiece to be turned through 360°. A swivel scale is provided for convenience.
If required, the swivel base can be detached and the vise used without it.
For fixing to the machine table, the vise has special rectangular slots on both sides.
