Description
The main friction clutch assembly is a friction coupling that connects the drive shafts and transmits torque through friction. It serves for permanent or temporary connection of shafts and can have one or several friction discs.
The unit is intended for 2M55 and 2A554 radial drilling machines, part number 2552554, made in Ukraine. It is supplied as a complete assembly, which makes replacing a worn clutch during repair easier. Suited to plant maintenance teams and workshops that run these machine models.
Friction shaft (clutch) - a device for permanently or temporarily connecting shafts. A friction clutch transmits torque by means of friction. Friction clutches can be designed with one or several discs, with cylindrical or conical friction surfaces, and with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electromagnetic control. Friction clutches are used in automatic systems because they allow remote control.
