Description

The MAST Bautechnik GQ50 is a rebar cutting machine for construction sites, precast concrete shops and metalworking workshops. The bar is placed between the blades, held by a stop, and cutting is controlled with a foot pedal or a lever. For volume work it is faster than cutting rebar with an angle grinder.

It cuts rebar of 6-42 mm and round bar of 6-50 mm at 32 cuts per minute. The 4 kW three-phase motor (380 V) drives the blades through a flywheel, gearbox and crankshaft. Working parts are enclosed, with a guard cover and a circuit breaker. Weight 455 kg; a wheeled chassis lets you move it around the site.

Description

The rebar cutter MAST Bautechnik GQ50 is designed for cutting rebar 6-42 mm in diameter and round bar 6-50 mm in diameter. Cutting is controlled by a foot pedal with a shift lever. A stop is used to hold the rebar in the cutting zone.

The GQ50 rebar machine is equipped with a 4 kW (3-phase) motor. Rotation from the motor is transmitted through a flywheel and gearbox to a crankshaft connected to the moving blades by a connecting rod. While the pedal or lever is pressed, the blades move continuously at 32 cuts/min. For safe operation all working units are enclosed, there is a protective cover against flying chips and a circuit breaker to prevent short circuits and current leakage. A wheeled chassis makes it easy to move the rebar cutting equipment around the work area. This machine is an excellent choice for small workshops and small-scale production.
