Description
FDB Maschinen Turner 500x1500KZX-DPA is a heavy general-purpose screw-cutting lathe for large turned workpieces. This metal lathe handles external and internal turning of cylindrical and tapered surfaces, facing, drilling and thread cutting. The bed ways and gears are ground, and the machine runs quietly.
Key data: 500 mm swing over bed and 720 mm over gap, 1500 mm between centres, 80 mm spindle bore with MT7 taper, 12 speeds 25-1800 rpm, 5.5 kW motor on 380 V, 3000 kg. About 150 metric, inch, module and DP threads without changing gears, plus DRO, coolant and work light. For machine shops handling large shafts and tubes.
Description
1. The bed guideway is carefully ground after super-audio frequency induction hardening and has a long service life. The gears are precision ground, and the noise level of the whole machine is low.
2. The spindle bore is 80 mm. The spindle system has high rigidity and accuracy.
3. No change gears are needed. The machine can cut about 150 types of metric, inch, module and D.P. threads.
