Description
The Proma PDS-140 slot mortising and boring machine cuts holes, mortises and slots in wooden parts. It consists of a base, a column carrying the motor under a guard, a machine compartment and a console with the work table, which is moved by a lever. This kind of machine is used in making furniture, doors and joinery joints.
Selection data: tool diameter up to 16 mm, 140 mm table stroke, 290 mm longitudinal and 140 mm cross table travel, 500×210 mm table and 2860 rpm. The 2.2 kW motor runs on 400 V and the machine weighs 97 kg. Suited to joinery shops and furniture production.
Used for cutting holes, mortises and other recesses in wooden parts.
The machine can be divided into four main parts: base, column, motor compartment and console.
A column is attached to the machine base; a 2.2 kW electric motor covered by a guard is mounted on its machined end.
The machine control button and the console guide are also mounted on the column.
The console carries a work table with adjustable angle; table movement is controlled by a lever.
