Description
The DISTAR DDR-B Granite Active 12 mm is a diamond-coated core drill for porcelain stoneware and ceramic tile. It drills holes in soft and hard tile, marble and porcelain stoneware and leaves a clean edge. It is a diamond tile core bit for an ordinary hand drill.
Key specs: 12 mm diameter, 80 mm length, cylindrical shank for a drill chuck. Wet drilling only, cool the bit and the material with water. Use a drill of 600 W or more with speed control from 800 to 2000 rpm and no hammer mode. Suits tilers, plumbers and renovation crews.
The DISTAR DDR-B GRANITE ACTIVE diamond core bit is an excellent helper for making holes of various diameters in ceramic surfaces. It performs most effectively with soft and hard ceramic tiles, as well as marble and porcelain stoneware. When drilling, it produces a neat edge without damaging the overall appearance of the material.
The core bit is available in different variants depending on the diameter, including from 6 millimeters to 46.
The core bit has a special shank for a clamping chuck, which allows the tool to be used on hand drills. Mandatory requirements for operation are a drill power of at least 600 W, a speed regulator from 800 to 2000 rpm, and no hammer action (perforation).
Thanks to the durable diamond layer, it achieves maximum working speed and drill service life. Water cooling of the drill bit and the material is required during drilling.
