Description
The FDB Maschinen MB524F jointer handles planing and jointing with manual or mechanical feed, on the flat and at angles up to 45 degrees. It is used for both preliminary and final surfacing of stock. The long ground table and a cutterhead set at an angle to the feed give a smooth, even cut, while the cast-iron base keeps the machine stable.
Maximum planing width is 410 mm and the work table measures 2500x410 mm. The 102 mm cutterhead with four knives runs at 5000 rpm, powered by a 3 kW 380 V motor. Weight is 400 kg. A machine of this size suits furniture production and joinery shops that work with long, wide stock.
