Description
The PROMA ZH-5M12 tapping head holds a tap for cutting internal threads in through and blind holes. It is used on lathes, drilling and boring machines so threads are cut by the machine rather than by hand. An adjustable safety clutch protects the tap from breaking, which suits series work.
Thread range M5-M12, B16 clamping taper, supplied with an MK IV / B16 arbor, weight 3.7 kg. Made by Proma, Czech Republic. It suits machine shops and repair workshops that tap holes in series on a machine with a Morse taper 4 spindle.
