Description
The Proma SS-125 is a universal machine vise with a swivel base for milling and drilling machines. The body tilts from 0 to 90 degrees and swivels through 360 degrees, so the workpiece can be set at the angle needed for drilling inclined holes or milling chamfers. A tilting vise like this extends what an ordinary machine can do.
Jaw width 125 mm, jaw height 45 mm, maximum opening 100 mm, weight 29.5 kg. The hardened jaws are serrated for a firmer grip and are opened with a comfortable handle, and the base has holes for mounting on different machines. This vise from the Czech brand Proma suits toolrooms, repair services and production shops.
Proma SS-125 — a machine vise with swivel base designed for mounting and clamping a workpiece in a convenient position for machining. The standard SS-125 vise is mounted on metal-cutting machines (milling machines, drill presses).
SS-125 features: a strong and reliable design, a convenient handle for opening the jaws, special holes for mounting on various machines or on a workbench, hardened serrated jaws for more secure clamping, and tilt and swivel capability that extends the tool's range of use. The vise size is defined by the jaw opening and jaw width. The brand originates from the Czech Republic.
