Description
The DISTAR Sprinter Plus diamond blade for asphalt (1A1RSS/C1S-W) is designed for asphalt, asphalt concrete and other materials of similar abrasiveness. It runs on floor saws and cut-off saws: road surface repair, cutting out patches, joint cutting. The manufacturer states up to 2000 linear metres of cut at 1.5-1.8 m/min. Bevelled protective segments shield the core from wear and material build-up. It cuts wet or dry; for depths over 7 cm water cooling and several passes are recommended.
Diameter 350 mm, bore 25.4 mm, segment thickness 3.2 mm, 21 segments. It suits road and municipal services.
The Distar 1A1RSS/C1S-W Sprinter Plus diamond blade is designed for cutting asphalt and other materials of the same abrasiveness. The blade is positioned on the market as the longest-lasting while still fairly productive. Service life reaches 2000 linear metres at a speed of 1.5-1.8 linear m/min, depending on the equipment used and the properties of the material.
When cutting asphalt and asphalt concrete deeper than 7 centimetres, additional water cooling is recommended, and the work should be done in several passes, which reduces tool wear and increases productivity.
The blade has bevelled protective segments that protect the body and extend the service life of the tool.
Several blade models are available, differing in particular in diameter, which ranges from 300 to 600 millimetres. Used with joint cutters and petrol cut-off saws.
