Description
The Proma SU-100 angle vise mounts on a milling machine or drill press when a hole or face has to be machined at an angle. The jaws tilt in the vertical plane and the angle is set on a scale. Grooves in the jaws hold round stock, and rectangular slots on both sides of the base are used to clamp the vise to the machine table.
Jaw width 100 mm, jaw height 46 mm, maximum opening 95 mm, vise height 115 mm, weight 8 kg. Made by Proma, Czech Republic. Useful in machine shops, tool rooms and repair departments where parts are often machined on an incline.
Proma SU-100 angle vises are designed for mounting on a drill press or milling machine. A distinctive feature of the angle vise Proma SU-100 is that the jaws can be rotated in the vertical plane. The rotation angle is read on a scale. The jaws have grooves for clamping round workpieces.
For fixing to the machine table, the vise has special rectangular slots on both sides.
