Description
The Optimum BM 3 is a manual three-roll bender (slip roll) for rolling sheet, strip, rod and wire to a radius. It clamps in a bench vise, so it needs no stand of its own. The bending rolls are ground, the roll bearings are self-lubricating, and material thickness and bending radius are set separately.
Bending width is up to 310 mm, minimum bending diameter 35 mm, roll diameter 30 mm. Maximum thickness is 1 mm for mild and stainless steel, 2 mm for aluminium and copper, 3 mm for thin strips. Grooves in the rolls take wire of 1-5 mm. Weight 10 kg; the vise is not included. A fit for small workshops and sheet metal repair work.
